Whirlwind Week

We are currently in our 4th "home" for the
week. It has probably been the longest week of my
life. It feels like an eternity since last weekend.
We had planned on staying between
my parents and Rhys' parents until our
house was built but because our house
got delayed, it is time to reevaluate our options.
We certainly needed a bit of space to just breathe
and do our own thing so this week we uprooted
and moved to a hotel. After 2 days there, it wasn't working
so off to a different hotel which was really nice.
The Acclaim hotel near the airport was
delightful. Lucky for us, our friends Shandell
and Kent were off to Maui for a week so
they offered us their house which
came to crash this morning. It's
definitely been a weird week, we've been
hauling our own bedding around which has been a
lifesaver. I'm not exactly the best sleeper in the
world so having our own sheets, pillows, and duvet,
has been much easier to adjust to all the different
"homes" we've had.

I sure feel lucky to have friends that help me out
when I'm in a pinch!

Why you so nasty?

I definitely needed a good laugh yesterday
and thanks to Instagram- I got my
laugh. For whatever reason this was the funniest
thing I had seen in so long.
Ahhhh.

No Fizz February

Since we've been bunking with other people,
our pop consumption has been
OUTRAGEOUS.
I decided that I needed to do something
drastic to kick off a little detox.
No pop for February includes juice and
sports drinks. That basically leaves tea, coffee,
and water. I have a feeling I'm going to need
to take out stocks on Perrier.

Gratitude

It always amazes me that life naturally
gives you a boost when you least expect it.
On Tuesday morning @ 0400, I
REALLY did not want to drive
to my parents but by the time I reached
Lethbridge, the sky was opening up into the
most beautiful sunrise. When I turned down the road
the leads to the farm, I actually had to stop.
I felt so grateful to have the sight that some
aren't so fortunate to have in order
to witness such a wonderful morning.
